ELIZABETH STRONG, M. COUN, LPC
Elizabeth Strong is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Idaho. With a background in clinical mental health counseling, Elizabeth has spent time working with clients from a wide range of backgrounds. She believes that the client is the expert in the room and works in collaboration with individuals to create treatment goals that are in line with the client’s current needs. Elizabeth works primarily from an existential lens, while pulling from a number of other treatment modalities to meet the individual needs of her clients. She often utilizes acceptance and commitment therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients that are wanting to make behavioral changes in their lives.
Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boise State University, and a Masters in clinical mental health counseling from Idaho State University. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, American Association of Sex Educators and Therapists, and the Idaho Counseling Association. She is an Idaho SOMB certified Associate Level Adult Sex Offender Treatment Provider.
As an Idaho native, Elizabeth enjoys all the things Idaho has to offer, and is often found enjoying time in nature. She believes that in nature she finds her balance and hopes that she can help others find their balance.
